Cases.gg Giveaway: How to Enter

Giveaways are one of the few ways to pick up extra Cases.gg balance without spending anything, and in October 2026 the official account was still running them regularly. But "giveaway" covers several different things on and around Cases.gg, from official social posts to creator streams to in-site features that work a bit like a giveaway. Each has its own entry steps and its own catch.
This guide covers how to enter each type, what eligibility rules still apply, how winners actually get paid, and the warning signs of the fake giveaways that copy the brand.
The quick answer
- Create a Cases.gg account first (18+, eligible location) and note your username.
- Find an official giveaway on the Cases.gg X account (@casesdotgg), the official Discord or a known creator's channel.
- Do exactly what the post asks, usually follow, repost and tag, or comment your username.
- Wait for the draw. Winners are usually announced in the same thread or channel.
- Receive the prize as balance in your Cases.gg account. Never pay anything to "release" it.
Type 1: official social giveaways
The main official channel is X (formerly Twitter). Posts from @casesdotgg regularly advertise cash-value giveaways. One October 2026 post, for example, promoted a $250 activity giveaway with three entry steps:
- Follow @casesdotgg.
- Repost the giveaway and tag friends.
- Stay active on Cases.gg.
The format changes from post to post. Some are pure social giveaways (follow and repost). Others, like the activity giveaway above, favour players who are active on the site. That's worth knowing before you enter: an "activity" giveaway may reward people who play, so don't feel pushed to spend just to qualify.
Tips for official social giveaways:
- Turn on notifications for the official account if you want to catch short giveaways.
- Keep your account public for the duration, or the team may not be able to see your entry.
- Read the reply rules. If the post asks for your Cases.gg username, include it exactly.
- Check the handle. Copycat accounts use near-identical names.
Type 2: Discord giveaways
Cases.gg has an official Discord. Joining it is listed as a mission in the Official Sweeps Rules, which means it can also pay Cases Cash on its own. Discord servers for sites like this often run quick drops and giveaway bots in dedicated channels.
How to enter: join through the link on the Cases.gg site (not a random link from a DM), read the server rules, find the giveaway channel and react or type the command shown.
Watch for: fake "staff" DMs offering prizes. Real staff won't ask for your password, 2FA code or a payment.
Type 3: creator giveaways
Cases.gg works with streamers and content creators through its creator and affiliate programs. Many run their own giveaways for viewers, typically:
- Follow or subscribe to the creator.
- Use their creator code (or have it already set on your account).
- Comment or type your Cases.gg username during a stream.
Creator giveaways are run by the creator, not Cases.gg, so the rules are theirs. Some only pay viewers who use their code. Remember that an account normally keeps one referrer, so you can't use every creator's code; our affiliate code vs promo code guide explains why.
Type 4: in-site features that work like giveaways
Not everything giveaway-like on Cases.gg is called a giveaway.
The 3 free welcome cases
New accounts can claim three free cases as part of sign-up. There's nothing to enter; it's a one-time welcome offer. If they don't appear, see free cases not showing.
Missions
The Official Sweeps Rules list missions as a way to collect free Cases Cash: tasks such as joining Discord, winning a battle or reaching a level. They aren't random draws, but they are free rewards.
Free Play
The rules describe a Free Play pot every 30 minutes of 2,500 Coins and 25 Cases Cash, plus a share of Coin purchases in that window, split among eligible participants in proportion to the Cases Cash each staked. You qualify at Level 10 or after completing KYC. It works more like a shared reward pool than a prize draw, and bigger stakers take bigger shares.
Races and rain
Leaderboard races and chat rain drops are covered separately in our weekly race and rain guide.

Eligibility still applies
Winning a giveaway doesn't override Cases.gg's rules:
- 18+ only, or the age of majority where you live if higher.
- Not available in Idaho, Michigan, Montana, Nevada or Washington.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts to enter more often can get every account closed.
- Verification before redemption. A giveaway prize credited as balance still has to pass ID checks before you can redeem. Our ID verification guide explains what to expect.
- Redemption limits. The normal minimum and timing apply; see redemption limits.
- Shipping. If you turn a giveaway balance into a physical prize, it ships only to North America and EU countries, with shipping charges.
What to do if you win
Winning is the easy part. Getting the prize into a usable state takes a few steps:
- Confirm it's real. Check that the winner announcement came from the official account or the creator's verified channel, not a DM from a stranger.
- Check your Cases.gg balance. Official prizes are normally credited to your account. If it hasn't arrived after the time given in the post, contact support from your registered email.
- Complete verification if you haven't. You'll need it before redeeming anything, and doing it now avoids a wait later.
- Decide what to do with the balance. You can play with it, convert winnings, or redeem once you reach the minimum. There's no obligation to play it all.
- Keep a record. Screenshot the announcement and your balance change. Screenshots won't count as proof of a win under the sweepstakes rules, but they help if you need to ask support a question.
Taxes and reporting
Prizes can count as income where you live. Cases.gg's rules say winners are responsible for any taxes and fees, including shipping on physical items. If you win something sizeable, keep records and check your local rules.
Giveaway balance and the house edge
A giveaway credit is played on the same boxes as any other balance, with the same published house edge. If you'd like to keep some of the value, consider redeeming once you meet the minimum rather than playing it all through.
How to spot a fake Cases.gg giveaway
Brand-name giveaways attract copycats. Red flags:
- You must pay to claim. A "processing fee", "verification deposit" or crypto transfer is a scam.
- A link to a login page that isn't cases.gg. Phishing pages copy the design closely. Type the address yourself.
- Someone DMs you first to say you've won something you didn't enter.
- They want your password, 2FA code or wallet seed. Nobody legitimate ever needs these.
- The handle is slightly off, with an extra letter, swapped characters or a new account with few posts.
- The prize is absurd compared with the official account's normal giveaways.
If you see one, report it on the platform and tell Cases.gg support. Turn on two-factor authentication on your account; our 2FA guide shows how.
How to improve your chances (honestly)
There's no trick to random draws, but you can avoid losing entries on technicalities:
- Follow every step exactly. A missed tag or follow can disqualify an entry.
- Keep your account public until the winner is picked.
- Use your correct username. Typos mean the prize can't be credited.
- Enter early. Some giveaways close sooner than expected.
- Don't spam. Duplicate comments or bot accounts can get you excluded.
Our take
Cases.gg giveaways are a genuine way to pick up a little free balance, especially the official X posts and Discord drops. Treat them as a bonus, not a plan: entries are random, activity giveaways tilt toward people who play, and any balance you win still faces verification and redemption rules. Set up your account properly, claim the free welcome cases, and only ever claim prizes inside Cases.gg itself.
